What do I do if my Caravan idles and then has a rough acceleration?

give your vehicle a tune-up. do not short and just do plugs. Dodge caravans are notorious for burning holes in spark plug wires. this will cause a horrible miss.

Check fuel pressure. Fuel filter. If you have a check engine light on then you want to have the codes pulled. Mix in or try higher grade gasoline.

Two main things to look at, both related to the exhaust system. A oxygen sensor can cause an acceleration problem as well as a clogged catalytic converter. The oxygen sensor will throw the check engine light.

if your car idles and it takes off bad, there is water in your gas or your car needs a tune up try replacing the spark plugs and go from there
