Walking pneumonia is also pneumonia but the symptoms are milder. Unlike real pneumonia, a person with walking pneumonia is not required hospital confinement and therefore can still do regular tasks.

It is a mild lung infection caused by a virus or parasite. The symptoms than accompany this are cough, fever and trouble breathing. The length of time it lasts depends.

Walking pneumonia is a mild case of pneumonia and does not require hospitalisation. Pneumonia can be caused by bacterial, viral, fungal and parasites. Pneumonia basically means infection of the lungs. The most common cause will be by bacterial called Mycoplasma Pneumoniae.

Lung infection simply means that a person had pneumonia but they feel well enough: or the symptoms are so vague that it can be undiagnosed, hence "walking around with pnemonia"
