There are two types of pneumonia, being bacteria and non-bacteria, and both have similar symptoms. Symptoms can include: cough (sometimes with mucus from lungs), fever, shaking/chills, fast and shallow breathing, chest pain, increased heart rate, fatigue, feeling weak, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. I would contact your doctor if symptoms persist.

If you think you have pneumonia some signs would be coughing, fever, and just simply not feeling well. You probably have a very wet cough and could even have trouble breathing. You should see your doctor right away if you have any of these symptoms.

Pneumonia can be very serious. A lot of symptoms are vague and can be confused with other illnesses. Chest pain, or cough with high fever are just a few signs.

Symptoms start similarly to a cold, but they get much more severe--after the coughing and sneezing and sore throat, there's usually a high fever and chills, and the coughing could bring up bloody mucus from the lungs. If you're not sure, it's best to consult a doctor to be sure.

Some of the signs of pneumonia are a sudden stabbing pain under the shoulder in your back. Cold and flu like symptoms. As well as a fever if you have any of those symptoms you need to either get to your doctor right away or go to your nearest emergency room for imediate care.
