Bone cancer is not usually fatal. The problem is that cancer does not begin in the bones so therefore if you have bone cancer then it is also somewhere else in the body and this is the cancer that will spread to other organs. People can live several years with cancer in the bones.

This really depends on how advanced the bone cancer is at the time of diagnosis. The earlier the disease is discovered, the better someone's chances are. Bone cancer can easily spread to marrow, which produces new cells, so patients can have a prognosis ranging from 1 to 5 years, depending on treatment options.

That is something a doctor will say 2 to 5 years, but no one has to tell you when your life is to expire, So if you had to die, then its your time.
