If you are in highschool or college you can apply to be your school mascot. A mascot should have energy & endurance as the outfits can be heavy/hot.

I know to be a college mascot at certain schools there is an intense tryout. This tryout includes things like pretending you are in front of ESPN cameras and just adlibbing what you would do, or dancing to certain songs. The best way to impress is by being very confident and outgoing.
