Growing a mulberry tree is relative easy but does require following proper planting procedures. Site location should have good drainage. Fertilizer for fruit bearing trees should be applied during growing season. A mulberry tree may be lightly pruned to achieve desired shape. Dead branches should be removed promptly. Monitor tree for pests and teat according to requirements for tree variety.

Mulberry trees are generally very easy to grow. They are one of a few trees that grow well from cuttings. They like a rich soil and will grow in almost any climate except for hot tropical and arid regions.

Make sure to plant in a area where it has plenty of room to grow. Just dig your hole 3 to 4 times the width of the root ball and equal in depth. Position the tree in the hole so it is straight. Fill hole with dirt and cover with mulch. Water well.
