Hydroculture is a method of growing plants without soil. They are grown in water- thus the name hydroculture. Nutrients and water are circulated around the roots of the plants, providing the necessary minerals and water for plant growth. This is primarily done indoors, in greenhouses, to prevent water loss due to evaporation.

the best way to grow plants in hydroculture (water) is to get rid of the dirt all together. Have a pot with slots which will make it easier for the roots to spread and grow.

All you need is rooted cuttings placed in a stone or pebble filled container. Add water and fertilizer. You want to grow inside to prevent the loss of water due to evaporation.
