For the smell on the hands you can use vanilla mixed with a little water and work like soap, a vinegar bath or soak, or rubbing a lemon on them. From your car, you can use febreze, a car air ionizer, or you may have to take it to a mechanic.

I remove all of the gasoline that I can with hand soap and then I make a paste out of a mixture of baking soda and salt in a 1 to 1 ratio and scrub my hands with that. If it does not work after one scrubbing, a second scrubbing usually takes care of the problem.

There are many common household items that can be used to get rid of gasoline odor. Try washing your hands in vanilla, vinegar, or lemon. These are also safe to use to remove gasoline from clothes.
