Once the dogs are in a tie, it's impossible to get them apart and you might injure them. Prevention here is the best medicine. Have your animals spayed and neutered.

It depends on how many males and females you have, but you are going to have to seperate them, the best thing to do is to seperate your yard so they cant come in contact with each other. If they are indoor dogs one needs to stay kenneled or outside while the others roam

You could let them out side at seperate times, and at night kennel one of them. Or just get them fixed, I made to careless mistake to not do either.

Dogs discharge a white liquid and bleed through the uterus and the uterus swells up as well, the dog which is in heat could be locked up alone in the dog room or tied away from other dogs approaching the dog which is in heat, the dogs in heat are usually aggressive and should be very careful while approaching them.

You are going to need to lock the dogs in separate rooms or put them in separate pens somewhere. If the dogs are un-spayed and un-neutered they can breed when they come into contact. I suggest getting your dogs fixed if you are not a breeder who is breeding them to sell puppies.

You will need to put them in different rooms, or leave one outside, or if male and female, place a doggy diaper on her.
