Why is my Infiniti J30 overheating?

I would think either your thermostat is sticking closed causing coolant to not flow through the engine. Or you could have a blown head gasket possibly.

There could be several reasons. You may have low coolant levels, a leak in your coolant system, or a loose hose.

The J30 is famous for blowing out thermostats. The part only cost ten dollars but is a well known headache for Infiniti owners. It only takes ten minutes and one screwdriver to change.
