Why don't they do product testing on people instead of animals?

Product testing is first done on animals because we place a higher value on human suffering than on animal suffering.

Products are tested on people, but they are tested on animals first in case they have severe or fatal problems. An animal's death is less than losing a person.

After animal testing, they people test. But, we should be people testing on confessed murderer death row "animals" who can repay their debt to society and possibly save lives by volunteering as guinea pigs for drugs that can cure diseases; if they live, they've earned their right to freedom.

They do test products on people to identify any hazardous effects, which is termed as the the phase 1 of clinical trials.
