Why are my dishes still dirty after the dishwasher cycle?

The little flap that keeps the dishwasher cleaning solution may have somethin wrong with it. Check to make sure that it is opening when it is supposed to. If it still has the solution at the end of the cycle it is not opening. Also, make sure you scrape most of your food off before washing the dishes.

it's possible you didn't use theright setting for the type of load you have--for example you might not eant to use the china or light mode if you have heavily soiled pots and pans.I normally wash dishes with disp soap in the sink first,but first try a heavier duty setting.it is possible you have a problem with water pressure.
