UCLA beat Arizona last June to win the 2010 NCAA Divison I Women's College World Series. The score was 15-9. With UCLA winning this game, it became their 11th softball championship. It would have been their 12th championship, but one was later vacated in 1995 due to NCAA rule infractions.

The last NCAA Div 1 softball tournament was won by the UCLA bruins when they took two games from the Arizona wildcats. The scores are as follows, in game one they won six to five in eight innings and game two they won fifteen to nine.
