Auguste Rodin. It's a bronze and marble statue, made in Paris, France. It was erected in approximately 1902 but not available publicly until 1904

The Thinker, or Le Pensuer, was made by Auguste Rodin in 1902. It was originally titled "The Poet", and is property of the city of Paris. It is located in the Rodin Museum in Paris, France.
