A typical place to get your thyroid levels tested is at a lab. The test needed is a simple blood test. If you go to your doctor's office, they might do the test right in the office. If your doctor doesn't have that capability, you maybe sent to an off site lab or a hospital.

Your primary care doctor can test your thyroid levels, if you feel there is reason you may see an endocrine specialist as well to have them checked.
