Check with the placement office at a local college and they should be able to point you in the right direction. If you find one that seems only to be after money, I would suggest finding a new one, because they are not looking out for your best interest.

Depending on where you live, you can call your county or city's information hotline to get a referral to one of these professionals. You can also go to your county or city's employment development department because they provide resources on employment and most of these agencies will have listings of head hunters specializing in various industries.
