Two types of stop-barking collars. The shock collar; most of these don't work. The Citronella collar. Your dog barks and a light spray of citronella sprays into dogs nose.

Innotek Spray Bark Collar is a humane way to contain the dog; the collar releases a spray of lemon scent to stop dog barking. Citronella is also used.

It depends on the situation and how you plan to use it. It's usually better to train your dog not to bark using positive reinforcement rather than a shock or spray.

Personally I wouldn't recommend one at all. They shock your dogs vocal cords every time it barks. What if there was an intruder or something and your dog didn't bark because it got shocked? There are other ways you can train your dog not to bark such as kennel training.

First I would recommend walking your dog alot, so it doesn't have the energy to bark. After, I would recommend the citranella spray collar, as this just annoys the dog and doesn't hurt it.
