Fasten it to the right saddle ring. Lay it on top of the saddle. From the other side, pass the collar around the front. Attach the other uptug in the same way. If your collar uses a center strap, attach this to the D-ring of the cinch or girth.

At the top of the collar should be a catch. Loosen the catch, and carefully slide the collar over your horse's head. Carefully place it on the horse, in the wither/ base of neck area.

Breast Collars attach to the D rings on the pommel of the saddle. There is one on each side of the saddle. The piece that is the stem of the "Y" attaches to a ring on the girth. Tighten it so it fits properly and you're good to go.
