You drive and the Testing Instructor will tell you where to go. They test your skills to see if you've mastered them and are a safe fit for the road.

You should check with the Department of Motor Vehicles where you will be taking your driving test to see if they offer a brochure or pamphlet describing the skills that will be tested, or check the state DMV's website. Such a test should include turns, parking, stopping, and city driving.
