Pest control make sure there are no leaks anywhere check the door locks and the water pipes as well as the gas.

Every aspect of the unit and common areas. Including Applinces, Plumbing, Electrical, Flooring, Walls/Ceiling, Saftey(locks, smokes,etc. ), Hvac, as well as all doors mirrors and the hardware that holds it all together. Combine these items with a timeline and budget and you are ahead of the game. Go get 'em!

All of the plumbing should be maintained, including sinks, bathtubs, showers, washers, and hot water heaters. Electrical items need to be maintained including outlets, lights, stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, and dryers and anything else that plugs in.

Things a building superintendent should check on include locks to gates (to prevent thefts), how clean the common areas are, the condition of the walkways and hallways (dor the carpets need replacing? Grass need mowing?), as well as general condition of the buildings and ancillary structures like carports.
