crime

What is the punishment for forgery on school transcripts?

I had a moment of extremely bad judgement, and did things I regret. I don't know if I will even get away it, or get caught, but I want to turn myself in.

It depends on what stand your school would take. They would either punish you or turn you over to the authorities. The punishment might be minimal and involve a fine. If they turn you over to the authorities your punishment would depend on what state your in. Forgery is a crime.

Plagarism is something that is not acceptable. You could be expelled for using something without giving credit to the person who holds the copyright. If you come clean you may have to take a failing grade for your work. However, it is better than being expelled.

The punishment depends on what you used the school transcripts for.The punishment may be a few months time in jail for fraud or a large bail.

If you turn yourself in, they will most likely be less severe on punishment. However, you will probably get suspended and if you applied to college, the school will definitely notify them about the behavior.
