I would recommend the kind of earring holder that is a base with small holes in it for an earring to go through each hole. On the back side you put the back of the earring, so this way you will never lose your earrings, or the backs! Good luck!

There are many types of earring holders, one popular form is a brass plate with pairs of holes to keep the earrings together. A simple, effective and inexpensive solution is to simply tack a piece of ribbon near where you keep your jewelry, when you remove your earrings immediately put them in the ribbon.
