The most important thing to remember is to clean up after yourself! It is a good idea to furnish your own things such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc. Also, bring food to share or offer to help cook the meals.

Clean up after yourself. Pay for some things occasionally (food, movies, long-distance calls) Give the hosts some privacy. Don't monopolize the bathroom, phone, or TV. Ask if it's okay before inviting someone else over. Don't overstay the invitation even if the hostess urges you to stay longer.

Bring a hostess gift and remember you are not staying at a hotel so respect house rules, clean up after yourself, offer to help and/or pay when applicable.
