Enamel hypoplasia is the incomplete formation of the organic enamel matrix of the teeth. It may be hereditary or due to environmental disturbances. It presents as white spotting of the enamel and sometimes shows brownish staining and pitting of the surface.

the top most layer covering the tooth is called the enamel ,enamel hypoplasia is a condition where there is decrease in the mineral contents which forms the enamel(example-dental flurosis)

It is one kinds of dental enamel problem.For this reason teeth looks hard but enamel becom thin. We seealso spot on the too enamel and it becomes thinner day by day by enamel hypoplasia. As a result teeth can be looks milky white.
