there isn't any thing named computer output microfilm microfilms were used in old analog camera and these days i didn't saw any of as today is the digital day please check your question again i think you mistype :)

Computer Output Microfilm is a process for copying data from electronic media on computers onto microfilm. This COM can be produced as microfiche or as 16mm-roll microfilm. Thisrecorder usually has a duplicator connected to it that can be created many copies.

COM, or Computer Output Microfilm, is ouput that is stored on microfilm or microfiche. This type of storage is much more cost effective than printing to paper. The disadvantage is that a microfilm reader is necessary to read the material due to its very small size.

microfilm is a technology used to store large amounts of data in very small spaces. it writes the data very small on the pieces of microfilm. this is advantageous because it lasts for a lot longer than most digital media. it is usually not used on a consumer level, though
