It could be many things. One is that the dimmer switch is turned to dim. Many times this switch is located on the same swith that turns your headlights on and off. Try this first.

Basic reason behind this is,the bulb which is used. Low quality bulbs an all cause the poor performance of light. That means we have to buy genuine spare parts itself, otherwise it will result in performance degradation. Sometimes it may be some loose contact ,so the exact reason will get only after consulting a mechanic.

Check to see that the dimmer for the dash lights has not been dialed down. There should be some dials on the dash you don't touch much, play with them a bit, or check the manual to see which one it is. If that doesn't work, check the battery or the alternator in that order. You may be able to swap the battery out with another to see if it gets brighter, if that works, replace your battery.

IT could be a loose or dirty battery connection, make sure they are clean and tight. It could also be a bad ground for the dash lights. Follow the ground wire and inspect both ends and the wire itself.

Well if the is a dimmer then you might have it turned down. Otherwise you may have a bulb dying and it making the other dim. There may also be a weak connection or something also that might be causing this.

The reason dash lights are getting dim because of the dirt and dust so get it cleaned by getting its transparent cover off and blew with the blower with low speed and if it remains dim then get new bulbs attach by the electrician because dash board's work is a bit complicated and it requiers expertise.
