What can I do about my Ford Explorer having no dash lights?

First try your dimmer switch and make sure it is working. Second, try to replace the fuse for the dash lights. Lastly try replacing the bulbs.

It sounds like a problem with a fuse. Check your fuse box to make sure none are burned out. If all of the fuses look good then it is most likely a short somewhere in the wiring. If this is the case you should take it to a lisenced mechanic.

Check the fuses, usually you can find the box underneath the driver side dash. If its not the fuses you might want to pull your gauge pod out and check to see if the bulbs are burnt out. If all else fails you can go get some 12v lights.

First you should check the fuses. One could be bad. If that isn't the problem, replace the bulbs one by one behind the dash by lowering the steering column and taking apart the dash board. If you take your explorer to a dealership, it could take about two hours to complete plus the cost of parts and labor.

I would check your fuse to make sure no of them are blown. Then I would check the light dimmer switch for the gauges, then the bulbs themselves.

First you can check to see if a fuse or light has gone out. Doing so, you'll probably have to take the dashboard apart. If that doesn't fix the problem you might want to make sure your battery is okay.
