I've had it for awhile now and it's annoying.

You should take rest and you should apply ice on your elbow so that pain is relieved and it will reduce inflammation in the area.

An elbow with tendonitis is usually treated by putting the arm in a sling. The affected arm should be rested as much as possible. Many times surgery is the only long term help.
