You need to contact an Avian Veterinarian so you can get them to take an xray of the leg. If it's a fracture, there can be infection which can hurt the bird further. They will give the bird pain meds and splint up the leg so the bird doesn't use it much.

If you have a Budgie leg injury, there are a few things you can try. You can wrap in in a vet wrap. You will want to clean the leg in warm water, so you can see if there is an infection. If it appears that there is an infection, you'll want to get an antibiotic.

Generally, nothing is done for injured budgie legs. With one leg, the budgie still functions as a normal bird. He can fly, hop, or slide down the bars of his cage. Sometimes, pet owners can be fooled by their bird sleeping on one leg into thinking they are injured.

Take your bird to the vet first of all. Depending on the break they may take the leg off. If not a birds leg can be splinted until it is able to heal on its own. Birds heal rather quickly depending on the severity if its a full break I would assume they would take the leg off.
