This is most likely the sign of some sort of stomach problem. It could be an ulcer, or your dog could even have perforated his stomach. Either way, only a veterinarian can tell and your dog needs to be checked out as soon as possible.

An ulcer or a mouth bleed is most likely. Alternatively, a tear in the stomach lining produced by something they ate is possible.

Your dog may have swallowed something that is damaging it's stomach. Best thing to do is have him/her checked by a vet. Hope your dog is fine.

Causes of blood in your dog's vomit can be causes by many things. One cause can be swallowing a forgien object or having tumors in the stomach or small intestines. It could also be from medication that irritated the stomach.
