What can cause blood in urine for a male?

I am male and have blood in my urine.

Blood in urine (in Male) can be caused by urine infection. It also can be caused by inflammation of prostate gland

Multiple things could cause blood in urine. Have you been having any sharp stabbing pains? It would very likely be a kidney stone. Another thing it could be would be a UTI. This is a urinary tract infection, and these can sometimes cause bleeding. Your best bet would be to get a checkup from the doctor.

The cause of blood in urine may be due to stones in the kidney or bladder, or injury to these organs and other parts of the genito-urinary tract. Some other causes may be kidney disease, sexually transmitted diseases, viral infection in the urinary tract, blockages and tumors.
