What causes hookworms in dogs?

Dogs get hookworms through the mother dog's milk, placenta, through the mouth, and through their top layer of skin. This is common for puppies. To get rid of them, take the puppies to your vet, as you should do with a new litter of puppies anyway.

They are just a normal parasite most dogs get. Go to the store and get some wormer and when you buy it read on the back and make sure it is for hook worms then give it to the dog.
