Assuming you have undergone the TURP surgery, you should have received discharge instructions on what to do in terms of follow-up and care, and also how to proceed if there are any side effects or ill symptoms. If there is any bleeding, pain, malfunction - call your call your Doctor!

A TURP is a transurethral resection of the prostate. They went up the urethra and removed your prostate. A failed TURP means that either they did not get all of the prostate. Or, more likely, they were remove cancerous cells from the prostate and did not get them all. Sorry.

If you have failed TURP you can consult your doctor and go for some oral medications which also work well.
