Deep red tones are good in order to create a passionate atmosphere. Cooler tones can make a more relaxing environment. Decorative paints like Ralph Lauren are cool too.

I think that better idea is to put some funny picture on the wall. Painting is for longer time but our mood in the bad time can change quickly.
