Any film by Don Hertzfeldt. He directed the Oscar nominated film "REJECTED." His drawings are simple but what he does with his craft is simply amazing and will stimulate your kid's imaginations. Some films to check out: Billy's Balloon, Everything Will Be Ok, and I Am So Proud of you.

I don't know what age group your kids are, but for younger children, Kipper the Dog was a great cartoon, with very simply drawn characters.
