I'm not interested in zombie movies like "I Am Legend," "The Cariers," or anything like that. I'm looking for movies like "Cloverfield" or "The Mist."

There is a new movie called Insidious that is out and is thought to be terrifying. A few other good monster movies are Stephen King's Dreamcatcher and Red Riding Hood.

I can suggest some movies like 'Quarantine', 'The Happening' and '30 Days of Night', which are very similar to 'Cloverfield' and 'The Mist'.

The Thing is one of the best monster movies ever. Other good ones are Alien(s), The Fog and Creepshow 1 and 2.
