Some easy art projects would be simple drawings (sketches) with pens or pencils, paintings on paper, wood or fabric, sculpture carved from a bar of soap or molded from clay or stiff dough and mosaics from frosting and M&Ms.
Art projects are difficult for different ages. I wouldn't recommend the same projects for 5 year old and a 35 year old. That said, paper bag puppets are always fun.
