What are complications associated with a fenectomy?

I will be having a fenectomy soon and would like to know what to expect.

I Think you mean frenectomy. . This is a very simple procedure. They will numb you up (the worst part), and use scissors to clip the tissue. Done. It will bleed quite a bit, this is normal for this procedure. You will be sore for a few days.

You will be sore where they make the incision to release the muscle. No more than 2 days of discomfort. You can eat and drink normally right away.

A fenctomy procedure can have several complications. Since a fenectomy is considered a minor surgery, any relevent complications may occur. Scar tissue is the most common complication. Infection, however unlikely, is a more serious complication that can occur after a fenectom

There are rarely any complications associated with a fenectomy. Rarely scar tissue can leave a bumpy feeling where the tissue was removed.
