Dogs like people do cough now and then. Maybe just because they have a tickle in their throat. If you'd like to test for kennel cough carefully press the front of the dog's throat. If your dog goes into a coughing spasm, he could have kennel cough

If your dog is really coughing you should call the Vet who gave him this shot and tell him that your dog has a really heavy cough. It may be nothing to worry about, but it could also be a sign on an Allergic reaction. Watch to see if his throat is closing up or if he's getting hives.

Bordatells Vaccines are administered to prevent kennel cough and you should not be concerned if the dog still coughs for a few days after getting vaccinated, if the symptoms prolong get help from a vet.
