Probably not, unless they are causing you a lot of pain, are bleeding frequently or often, or develop into larger or external hemorrhoids.

Most of the major health complications that develop in life start small and when ignored become major problems. It is good you see a medical professional to array fears of a possible complication.

it is my understanding that everyone has these hemorrhoids but they only cause for concern when they become irritated and inflamed and begin causing a person problems. Even though we call it hemorrhoids when this happens its really inaccurate because the hemorrhoids are there all along. so i would not worry unless they are causing you problems.

This is a benign problem and you should not worry about it. It can sometimes cause you minimal bleeding which not mixing with the stool. You can avoid this by taking foods containing lots of fibers.

If the hemorrhoids are not bothering you then there is no need to be concerned. It is very common for men and women to get them as they age and often the small ones will take care of themselves over time. If they become larger, strangulated then you should seek medical help.
