It may be a sympathetic reaction, but see your veterinarian right away, to rule out a broken bone or an infection that is not seen from the outside through fur.

If your dog is still limping after a leg injury, then you probably want to take it to the veterinarian. They may want to do an x-ray to see what is wrong with the dog.

Take the dog to a vet to make sure there is no fracture or chipped bone. If there are no visible injuries that can be found, make the dog rest.

The first thing you should is take it to a vet. Make sure everything is ok with the surgery. The you might consider helping it walk for a couple minutes a day. Walk slow. Try massaging gently on leg. Consider to go to a few therapy classes as well.
