Yes and no. There are athletes that get paid for playing on a softball team by the team sponsor. Those are professional softball players that supplement their income. But no professional softball league like there is for baseball.

There is a women's professional softball league called National Pro Fast Pitch (NPF), which was formally called the Women's Pro Softball League (WPSL). A local team in Chicago named the Bandits particpates in NPF and games are often televised on Comcast Sportsnet.
