Anthony Hopkins, age 72 is alive and active. Born in Wales, he is a naturalized American citizen who lives in Malibu, California. He is involved in several movies that are currently in various stages of production, including a film version of Marvel Comics' "Thor" -- he is playing Odin. His also involved in multiple charities, and teaches acting.

Anthony Hopkins is still alive. He was just in the film "Wolfman" and is filming "Thor" (where he plays Odin) right now. He has four films in various stages of pre and post production. His next film, "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger," is to come out in 2010.
