If I could pick anyone on the planet to be the next president of the US it would probably be Oprah. She is a very intellectual person, has compassion for others, knows how to run her own empire , understands others, and has lived on a low income before so she knows what struggles are.

I choose Collin Powell. He knows the ins and outs of politics, while remaining very ethical. He also truly cares about the US and the world. He is probably the most respected American abroad. But he says he will never run. Bummer!

I would choose Bill Clinton. He's already proven that he can run the country very effectively; during his administration, there was economic prosperity, generally world peace, and a budget surplus. I would not care if he was fooling around with the interns, either!

Warren Buffet is my choice. I think he is a leader that will build a strong team around him. He has good financial knowledge and he is a team player. He is not embedded in the current political mess. He is respected by all and he seems very fair. I trust him.

i think warren buffet is very trustable and smart, but he is just a finance guy. how would he do for social policy, foreign policy or the environmental issues? also, he's pretty old and the pressure of the job of president might be too much.  add a comment

Paul Krugman.

i know he won the nobel prize and is quite smart, but i find him too politicized to be good for the job. being a good president requires conviction but also reaching consensus and i am not sure he would be good at the latter.  add a comment
