Is a 9.5 bad on a three month diabetes test?

I am three months into my diagnosis and was recently tested again, my levels came back at 9.5.

A rating of 9. 5 on a three month diabetes test is considered a fair rating, but is really bordering towards a poor rating. A better rating would be 7. 5 to 8. 5 and the optimal rating would be less than 6. 5.

Between 6 and 7. 0 is considered diabetes that is being well controlled,so 9. 5 should be looked at by your doctor who may decide to make changes in your treatment plan. If you are changing your habits for the better your doctor may wait till the next test to see if it comes down more.

Yes, this is bad. Your blood sugars have been to high for the past three months. This puts you at an increased risk for complications associated with diabetes.

No that is a good level and should be maintained at around that number. This means that the sugars are well controlled using the methods that you are using and they should be continued.
