I'm going in for a sleep study and will be drug tested. Are they going to test for Benadryl?

It is important to disclose all medications that you are taking. The presence of sedatives and/or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) in your system will have an effect on test results. You will be asked to refrain from taking these medications prior to your sleep study. The study itself will not test specifically for the presence of Benadryl in your system.

Unlikely, but theoretically possible. Would there be any repercussions if it were disovered? Diphenhydramine (active ingredient in Benadryl) has legitimate use as an allergy treatment. It doesn't have much (addictive) potential as a drug-of-abuse. Tell the staff about ALL medications you've been taking; this is for your own safety.
