The prize money that a bodybuilder wins for winning a competition varies greatly. It really depends on how big of an event it is, but it can be anywhere from a few hundred dollars to many thousands. The winner of the 2009 Mr. Olympia competition will receive $200,000.

In varies from competition to competion, and whether or not they are pros or amateurs, as prizes range from $500 to $250,000.

I have no idea on this one, I am sure there is some sort of monetary prize, but most are in it for the prestige of winning.

Well every competition has it own payout scale. Unless all the competitions are put on by the same sponsors then prize money can vary.
