How long do candles burn?

It depends on the brand. I noticed that the Yankee candles burnout in a day where as the glade candles last several days.

The formula is total weight of candle divided by burn rate to get burn time. Weigh your candle, then burn it for one hour and weigh again. Subtract the remaining weight from the originally weight. The difference is your burn rate per hour. Now, you can figure out how long your candle will burn.

The time that a candle will burn depends on many factors: is the candle in a draught? Has it been refrigerated before lighting? ( this extends the burning life ).
