The color of the candle has little to no bearing on how fast or intensely the candle may burn. The important factors to consider are the size of the candle (width and height) and most importantly, the material that the candle is made of. Some materials such as beeswax melt faster than others such as parafin.

I don't believe the color has much to do with it. It's the wick, the type of wax used, and if the candle is scented or not.
