How does a self-serve car wash work?

Can it do all the things a regular car wash does?

A self-serve car wash is an outdoor area that you drive into and park. It is coin operated and typically takes quarters; you will need between $2.00-5.00 to complete the wash. There are several cycles--presoak, wash, soap with brush, rinse and wax. Self-serve car washes allow you to protect your car against damages usually associated with drive-through car washes.

First you decide how much money you have to spend and what kind of wash you want. Then you insert the money into the machine and push the button. Last pull your car up on the ramp and sit back and enjoy! You didn't even break a sweat!
